The Datalogic PBT9500-RT robust imager Bluetooth is the practical variant for retail of the proven PowerScan family by Datalogic. It is particularly suitable for capturing current stock quantities, for support at the sales counter or for recording incoming goods. It withstands multiple drops at the counter, just like the traditional PowerScan Series, and is certified IP65 against dust and liquid ingress. Bluetooth 3.0 offers a stable and reliable connection up to 90 m – both to the base station and as a sleek mobile POS solution based on tablet or smartphone.

In addition to 1D and 2D barcodes, the PBT9500-RT also captures barcodes based on digital watermarks. Thanks to this capability, the robust imager goes beyond classic boundaries and is also particularly suitable for future-oriented applications. With these barcodes, it is possible to mark the entire surface of a product with a completely invisible barcode, instead of just one area – making the search for the product's barcode location obsolete. This increases both throughput and efficiency to the maximum.
