Datalogic PD9500-RT PowerScan durevole 2D area imager

The Datalogic PD9500-RT makes the durability of the Datalogic PowerScan family now available for retail. The 2D imager is perfectly suited for capturing current stock quantities, for point-of-sale support or for recording incoming goods. It withstands multiple hits at the counter, just like the original PowerScan series, and is certified IP65 against dust and liquid ingress. The intuitive targeting system, the patented green dot, and 3GL technologies simplify the capture of almost all 1D and 2D barcodes.

Moreover, the PD9500-RT captures barcodes based on digital watermarks. These so-called Digimarc barcodes are not selectively marked on the product packaging but mark the entire surface invisibly. This makes searching for the product barcode location obsolete, increasing both throughput and efficiency to the maximum. The PD9500-RT features a multi-practice interface: simply connect the scanner via USB or RS232 interface, depending on needs.
