The DS9300 series is designed to be operational all day long. According to their IP52 certification, they are protected against dust deposits and dripping water - thanks to their optomechanical design, the base is also splash-resistant. The optional slipper-style multi-mount accessory allows the scanners to be mounted on a table or wall without limiting the tilt angle from 15° to 45° - ideal for price checking or pick-and-pack operations. Additionally, the DS9300 series is immediately ready to use via Plug & Play and is compatible with USB, RS-232, keyboard wedge, and RS-485 interfaces. The Zebra DS9300 series is backward compatible with the cables and power supplies of the DS9208 - which helps save on investment costs. Furthermore, the scanners will receive support from Zebra OneCare Select, OneCare Essential, and DataCapture DNA services. The Zebra DS9300 series consists of particularly space-saving presentation scanners. Thanks to their compact shape and 45° cable connector, they fit practically anywhere and have an attractive appearance in alpine white or midnight black colors. As a result, they are suitable for the POS area in hospitality and retail, as well as for trendy boutiques or the hotel industry. A particular advantage of the DS9300 series is its optional deactivation of EAS anti-theft tags. For this, the label only needs to be scanned by the scanners. The DS9300 series features a high-resolution megapixel sensor and a particularly powerful 800 MHz microprocessor with Zebra's exclusive PRZM Intelligent Imaging technology. Additionally, reliability and fast barcode acquisition in almost any condition, if desired even more than one at a time, are among the basic features of the series. The scanners capture 1D and 2D barcodes, particularly small and high-density codes, digital barcodes from monitors, as well as OCR, DotCode, and optional Digimarc. Moreover, if necessary, they convert A6 format documents into images. A clear confirmation of successful scanning is provided by an adjustable beep in volume, frequency, and duration, along with a user-friendly bright green LED lighting.
